PUDS' First Annual Perogy Supper
Thank you to everyone who came out and helped make our first annual perogy supper a huge success.
We want to send a heartfelt thank you to Kasia Bendza for donating her time and ingredients for the perogies. Also a huge thank you to Mr. Kshyk for his donation of the sausage served that evening.
A HUGE thank you to the board at Spruce Grove Pioneer Centre for donating use of the space so our dancers could earn more towards their Toronto trip.
Thank you to the amazing people at Carvel Hall for opening up their hall to our club for a very special workshop with Vincent Rees.

Keeping Tradition Alive!
Experience Authentic Ukrainian dance while immersing yourself in a rich and beautiful culture.
The presence of Ukrainian dancing in Stony Plain, Spruce Grove and Parkland County began over 40 years ago with the inception of the Stony Plain Ukrainian Dancers. In 1983, the club formed a registered society known as the Parkland Ukrainian Dancers Society (PUDS) allowing the youth of the community an opportunity to experience and appreciate Ukrainian culture through costume, music, and dance.
Currently our club has 8 groups ranging in age from 4 years to adults. No dance experience is necessary. We begin our dance season in September and conclude in celebration at our year end recital in June. Our classes run through the season. At this time, we do not offer half year or month by month classes. Our dancers practice once a week from 45 to 90 minutes depending on age. All of our groups are competitive.
Our dancers learn and perform dances representing 6 regions of Ukraine: Poltava, Hutsul'schyna, Bukovyna, Zakarpattia, Podillian, and Volyn.
