Dancers of all ages wear make-up on stage to make their faces and expressions visible to the audience. Make-up emphasizes facial features

that would otherwise be washed out by stage lights. Use make-up to enhance natural beauty, not cover it up.

Please note: PUDS does not supply make-up or hair products. These items are the sole responsibility of dancers/families to purchase at their own expense, they are not a part of tuition or costume rental fees. At times, PUDS may have certain items for sale at a discount, in this event PUDS will advertise such items.

After following these steps for basic makeup application, stand back and smile. You are now ready to hit the stage and dance.

Tips to follow: Store your makeup in a case dedicated to and labelled for dance ONLY, this way you will never forget an item.

    •  Store your makeup in a cool place to keep it fresh longer.
    •  Never share makeup with others, friends or family, for hygiene purposes.
